Selenicereus Megalanthus Cactus

89.00

This vine-like cactus has a surprise in store: it produces large white flowers that give way to berries--known as Dragon Fruit. Native to Southeast Asia, Mexico and South America, a more fascinating decorative edible is hard to find.

The cactus must have some kind of support to keep it growing off the ground. It needs slightly more water than other cacti--a couple times a week in the hotter months, once a week when it is cool. Fertilize once every two months in the first year, increasing the amount in the second and third years. This will help the plant stay strong and healthy when it produces fruit.

This fabulous specimen is planted in a hand thrown porcelain vessel and measures approximately 6.5"w and 33"h.
