Cacti come in many varieties, and with their easy maintenance and fascinating variations, it's no wonder these members of the succulent family are booming in popularity.

Alluadia procera, a member of the Didiereaceae. This spiny xerophytic shrub or small tree with small, drought deciduous leaves is native to southern Madagascar. Conserves moisture during periods of drought by shedding their small leaves, and flowers once per year (white).

Water infrequently but thoroughly, waiting for the soil to dry completely between waterings. This unique plant lives in a hand thrown porcelain vessel and measure approximately 11"h and 5"w.
