Piermont Straus Foundation invites artists free of charge to join us for a one-day community art event. Artists will show their work, sell their work, and create work on site. Included in the event will be teaching workshops and hands-on workshops for all ages. Artists must apply in advance by completing the form below. Applications to participate are due on Friday, September 9, 2016.

Agreement of Terms *
By checking this box you hereby discharge, release and hold harmless, Piermont Straus Foundation at Art in the Park @ Flywheel Park, Phil Griffith (all cities, property owners, and associated) and all co-sponsors from any and all manner of action, suits damages, or claims whatsoever arising from any loss or damages or claims to the person or property of the undersigned while in possession or under the supervision of the sponsors during the Festival. I hereby consent to enforcement of all rules of this event. There will be no refunds for bad weather, rain,wind, etc. The event WILL take place rain or shine. There will be no refund for artist cancellation. Credit will be issued towards a future show if Art in the Park is notified one week prior to event. Management reserves the right to disqualify any exhibitor causing any problems. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations provided by Art in the Park @ Flywheel Park may result in expulsion from any and/or all events. Management reserves the right to make final interpretations of all rules. I the undersigned understand that if this application is not accepted, the rental fee will not be returned, and all slides and photos will only be returned if a self-addressed stamped envelope is included with application. If accepted, Art in the Park has my permission to reproduce my artwork for the sole purpose of advertising and marketing the event. Art in the Park @ Flywheel Park also has my permission to publish photographs or video taken of my booth, my work, and me during the event for the purposes related to promoting the event, past or future.

Q & A:

Will I get to choose my space? Artists will be given spaces on a first-come first-serve basis.

May I sell products not approved by Art in the Park? No, you must submit pictures of each item being sold at our events. We do not allow ANY imported, manufactured, mass produced, or buy and sell items. All items must be handmade or produced by you or approved to sell by another representative. The only exception to this rule would be for non-profit booths selling items for their causes.

May I cancel an event? You may cancel your participation in the event as long as it is 1 week prior to the event scheduled.
